She is a pediatric physical therapy assistant who brings a wealth of compassion and enthusiasm to her work. This early love for dance shaped her understanding of physical coordination and also deepened her commitment to supporting other aspiring dancers.
Marie began dancing at the age of four. As she grew, so did her passion for dance, leading her to join Full Force Dance Team. It was there, in 2011, that she first experienced the exhilarating energy of Mardi Gras parades, marching proudly alongside her teammates. Over the course of five years, she served as Captain, guiding and inspiring her fellow dancers with dedication and enthusiasm. Under the mentorship and direction of Megan Southwood, she assumed the role of Co-Director of Full Force Dance Team, delving into the intricacies of team management and leadership for three enriching years.
Marie founded Southern Charm with the vision of creating a safe and welcoming space for girls, where they can feel a genuine sense of belonging. Recognizing the challenges many young girls face in today’s world, she aimed to foster an environment that encourages self-expression, confidence, and connection. Through engaging activities and supportive community gatherings, Southern Charm empowers girls to embrace their individuality and build lasting friendships. Marie’s dedication to nurturing this positive atmosphere not only helps girls feel accepted but also inspires them to lift each other up, cultivating a strong sense of unity and support among peers.
