JUNIOR DIRECTOR

Born with an innate love for movement, Jessica embarked on her dance journey at just three years old where she honed her skills and cultivated her passion for dance. As she matured, she transitioned seamlessly into the role of a dance teacher assistant, spending five years guiding and inspiring younger dancers at the studio. Simultaneously, she found herself drawn to the spirited atmosphere of parades, where she marched with dedication and enthusiasm for eight years. It was at the age of twelve that Jessica discovered her true calling when she joined the Full Force Dance Team, channeling her energy and talent into the exhilarating world of dancing in Mardi Gras parades. This pivotal moment ignited her drive and determination, setting her on a path towards becoming the Junior Director of Southern Charm where she continues to inspire and empower young dancers to this day. In her hands, the Junior Dancers not only learn to master their craft but also to love and cherish every moment they spend on the dance floor. 

JUNIOR ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

 Kayla embarked on her dance journey at the age of 13, as a dancer of Full Force Dance Team, amidst the vibrant energy of Mardi Gras parades. She thrived on the joy that dance fostered, forming deep connections with her fellow dancers. However, she took a small hiatus and Southern Charm helped her rediscovered her love for dance. Reflecting on her childhood attempts at choreography, Kayla realized that dance was her true passion, a sentiment reignited. Embracing this newfound purpose, Kayla wholeheartedly committed herself to dance, deeming it the most fulfilling endeavor of her life. Now, as the Junior Dance Team Assistant Director, she is determined to instill the same sense of excitement in the young dancers under her guidance. Eager to share her love for dance and foster a supportive environment, she looks forward to delving deeper into the art form, enriching the lives of the Juniors, and igniting their passion for dance.

  With a decade of dedication to dance, Fallyn has woven herself into the fabric of the dance community with passion and skill. Beginning her journey in a studio setting, she spent ten years refining her technique and nurturing her love for movement. Transitioning to the exhilarating realm of dancing in parades, she joined Deja Vu Dance Team, where her talent and leadership propelled her to the role of captain for three years. After a hiatus of six years, Fallyn returned to the dance team scene with a renewed passion for dance, driven by her love for hip hop and the freedom of expression it offers. Yet, beyond the beats and choreography, it's the sense of family she finds within Southern Charm Dance Team that truly fuels her spirit. For her, the most cherished aspect of being on a dance team is the bond she shares with her fellow dancers—a bond forged through sweat, laughter, and a shared love for the art of movement.

 Born with a passion for movement, Kristina embarked on her rhythmic journey at 16 years old. It was then that she discovered her love for the raw energy of hip hop, a genre that would become her artistic sanctuary. With relentless dedication and unwavering commitment, she honed her skills, emerging as the Performance Team Assistant Director. Beyond the parade lights and pulsating beats, she finds solace in the serenity of nature trails and the tranquil rhythm of fishing. When she's not choreographing mesmerizing routines, she can be found basking in the company of her beloved dogs, cherishing each moment of connection and joy they bring to her life. Through her innovative choreography and deep-rooted love for both movement and nature, Kristina continues to inspire the dancers of SCDT, reminding them that true artistry knows no bounds.
